Base: She has great skin, so I wanted a foundation that would provide a flawless, long-wearing finish that still showcased her complexion. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H is that foundation.
Eyes: I focus a LOT on the eyes. For Jess, still keeping with the ‘soft and pretty’ theme, I achieved a smoky eye without being too overdone. Blending warm tones to shape the eye and featuring my favourite bronze colour of the moment: Nars Fez Eyeshadow. The look is complete with a strip-lash and a fine line of black liquid eyeliner on the upper lash-line.
Cheeks: Gently, I contoured under the cheekbones, jawline and hairline with MAC Refined Golden Bronzer. On the apples of the cheeks, I used a hint of MAC Dolly Mix Bush, then finished the checks with MAC Redhead Mineralize Skinfinish for that extra bridal glow.
Lips: I used MAC Boy Bait Creamsheen Glass – a beautiful soft, pink lip-gloss that’s not too tacky and just the right shade for a blushing bride.
